As we already mentioned, you can save your tiktok video to your device before posting it. but sometimes you forget. Or maybe there’s another tiktok video that you didn’t create but want to use in your own videos on tiktok and other social media platforms (with credit to the original creator, of course).
tiktok watermarks can be difficult to remove, but not impossible. These are the best apps we’ve found to remove watermarks from tiktok and give you a pristine, unmarked video.
1. apowersoft watermark remover

apowersoft watermark remover is a reliable tiktok watermark remover tool. you can use the app on your android device or if you are on windows. The app identifies the link you copied from the tiktok app, and with just a few clicks, the watermark is gone. you can also use it to remove watermarks from other platforms or tools. this is particularly useful if you use a screen recorder that leaves a watermark.

Here is how to remove tiktok and other watermarks with apowersoft watermark remover on windows.
Start by selecting remove video watermark on the main screen. you will be taken to a new screen for editing.
click or select a video at the bottom of the screen to import videos. you can also drag and drop them from your computer to the desktop version of the software. you can import as many videos as you want. once the videos have been imported, you can review them in the video player.
Next, highlight the thumbnail of the video you want to edit and click the selection tool. a box will appear that you can move or resize and set the time for the box to appear if the watermark only appears on part of the video. By default, the box is set to display for the entire duration of the video.
click add parts and you can add more watermark selections (up to 5). just click the red “x” to remove a box you don’t want.

remove & add watermark is an android application that, no surprise here, allows users to add and remove watermarks from videos. you can use it to remove tiktok watermarks using a lasso or rectangle selection tool. the app then replaces the area you’ve selected using the nearby pixels. there’s also a crop tool if you’d rather go that route.

this app is pretty sensible. once you launch it, you have the option to choose the image or video from which you want to remove the watermark.
we’re going to touch select video. this opens the option to remove watermark or add watermark. we want to remove a watermark from tiktok, so we’ll tap on that option.
after choosing the option, you will be able to choose the video you want from various applications:
You will access a new screen with a preview of your video and a rectangle that you can resize to cover the watermark.
if you need to add another rectangle (and it will if you want to cover both tiktok watermark locations), just click the plus icon at the bottom of the screen.
when you’re done, just hit save.

video eraser is a simple app for ios users and works to remove watermarks, logos and other elements on your video. It’s not incredibly powerful, but it’s a solid app that you can use for mp4, m4v, mov, and 3gp files.

once you open the app, tap more > crop the video to remove the watermark and choose the tiktok video you want from your camera roll.
next, select the aspect ratio for your tiktok video and use the corners of the grid to choose the part of the video you want to keep.

kapwing is a free online video editor that you can use to remove tiktok watermarks in several different ways. you can also use it to adjust the speed and trim your video.

there are a few different ways you can use kapwing to remove watermarks from your tiktok videos. in this section, we will show you how to remove watermarks by:
- crop the watermark
- cover the watermark with your own
- blur the watermark
- replace the watermarked section with a non-watermarked section
crop the watermark
The easiest way to remove tiktok watermarks is to simply crop them out of the video. unfortunately, it’s also the least polished looking method.
in kapwing, you can either upload your video or paste the link to the video in its place.
once you upload your video, click crop.
use the purple sliders in the corners so that the crop box only includes the area of the video you want to keep; omit the watermarks. remember that tiktok watermarks move so you will need to crop the top and bottom to be completely free of watermarks. when you’ve set it up the way you want it, click crop done.
then click export video in the upper right corner of the screen. Your video will be automatically processed and updated after it’s done so you can download the video without watermark.
note: kapwing ironically puts his own watermark on the new video. you have to log in to remove it.
cover the watermark
To cover the watermark instead of cropping it, upload your video to kapwing as we did above and click the text tool in the menu at the top of the screen. from there you can change the background color of the button text so that it can completely cover the watermark.
then, simply move the text field where you want it. you can do the same with an image overlay (your logo, maybe?). just click images in the top menu and browse for the file you want to use to cover the watermark.
remember that tiktok watermarks appear in the top left and bottom right corners, so you’ll need to add two covers. you can use the same by clicking duplicate near the bottom of the editing tools panel on the right.
to be a bit more fancy, you can use the timestamp tool to move your watermark cover when tiktok moves the watermark. just add more than one element that you will use to cover the watermarks and click timeline.
From there, you can set each item to appear at a specific time.
once you’ve got the video set up the way you want it, export it like we did before.
blur the watermark
If you just want to blur the tiktok watermark to make it less distracting without adding more distracting elements to your video, you can do that too. Start by uploading your video to kapwing and duplicating the layer three times.
on two of the layers, use the crop tool to select only the tiktok watermark area in the top left and bottom right corners. then place the smaller video overlays over the original watermarks. here is an example of the location of your clipped layers. Before we go any further, we’ll make sure that the layer in the center actually covers all of the white space.
now, click on one of the overlay layers and choose adjust in the editing tools on the right.
the last adjustment tool on the list is blur. using the slider add a slight blur to the layer. we are using 5 here. click done.
you’ll notice that the watermark is now blurred:
repeat this process on the second video overlay and export as explained above.
replace section with watermark
similar to blur watermark, you can also use kapwing to overlay the tiktok watermark area with a video of the same area from another part of the video where that section is unwatermarked. Since tiktok watermarks move on the video from the top left corner to the bottom right corner, there are times during the video when there are no watermarks in those corners.
of course, this method will only be useful if the background of the video is stable and there are no transitions moving from one setting to another.
we’re going to start the same way we did with the blur method: duplicate the video layer three times, clip two of the layers to the watermarked corners, and overlay those corners on top of the original video.

for each of the video overlays, you’ll click trim and change the start and end times so that the only remaining section of the video is unwatermarked.
then click open timeline to make sure that the shorter video clips play in a loop throughout the entire video, so that the section of the video without watermark continue to play over watermarked sections.
important: click mute on the overlay videos so that the sound is not played.
now just export your video!
5. musically down
